A FREE PAGE FOR YOUR ZOO:
We want to include a free page for your zoo.It will
include visitor details (like gate prices, opening times, address, directions, numbers of
animals, and a full species list) as well as visitor reviews if any are submitted. You
will be able to give visitors the address for this page – (it will be something like www.goodzoos.com/usa/sandiego.htm
) And it will help us to give the users of goodzoos.com the ability to find which
zoos they can visit to see their favourite animals using our search feature. Your
zoo page will also appear on web search engines (after a few months). So please send us
your zoo details and we shall publish them as quickly as we can. Remember to
include:
* Address and Telephone
* How to find you
* Admission Prices
* Zoo area (in acres or hectares)
* Numbers of species and numbers of individuals of mammals / birds /
reptiles & amphibians / fish
* Your Zoo Logo
* A list of species kept (scientific and common names)
* A brief description of the zoo highlighting features of interest and
conservation successes |
VISITOR REVIEWS:
We want to publish ‘non official’ visitor critiques free of charge, subject
to editorial approval. This is what we’re here for. So get your notebook out and write a
review – anything from a paragraph up to a thousand words – we don’t mind. Just be honest,
observant, constructive … all those things. And email us in any format to [email protected] DIRECT
LINKS: If you represent a zoo or wildlife collection and you would like to
include direct links from The Good Zoo Guide into your own Web Pages, then please contact us. We will include a direct link to
your web site. All we ask is that you consider putting a link on your site to goodzoos.com
OFFICIAL DESCRIPTIONS: We would like to include a written
critique of every zoo – say of around 400 – 1500 words – plus photos, site maps,
etc. If you would like us to publish an ‘official zoo description’ provided by the
zoo, we will be happy to do this. See notes for submission below. |
