How to Find it: Brisbanes Alma Park Zoo is situated 28 kms north of Brisbane. Take the Boundary Road exit off the Bruce Highway and follow the signs.

Official Description

Brisbane’s Alma Park Zoo is a unique sub tropical zoo situated on 20 acres of award winning gardens. See a wide variety of Australian animals including koalas, kangaroos, emu, dingo, echidna and wombat to name a few, as well as a range of exotic animals such as sun bears, leopard, camel, water buffalo, monkeys and baboons.
Visitors can enjoy hands on contact with the animals. Touch and pat the friendly kangaroos and fallow deer in their walk thru enclosures. Come face to face with koalas and take your own photos at daily feeding times.

Picnic and BBQ facilities are provided for your enjoyment. There are numerous picnic facilities situated throughout the tropical gardens and spacious lawns for a relaxing lunch.
