Review by Darcy G. April 2006

I love this Zoo, It reminds me of when i used to go on fieldtrips there, and now im 34 years old and i still go every chance i get. My mom and dad always brought me every weekend. Baton Rouge Zoo is the best ever

Review by Amy, October 2005

The Baton Rouge Zoo is a wonderful place to visit.

There are many new exhibits such as the otter pond it shows some really interesting things about the otters and Louisiana's culture. There is also the aquarim house. which has not only fish but snakes, alligators, spiders.turtles and other interesting animals.

This particular zoo is a favorite place to spend the day for the whole family.

My family has a membership we paid thirty dollars and get in all year free. Thats a very good deal considering my family visits at least ten times a year.

They have the elephant show twice a day also they have another show where you can learn about most of the animals there topics very and I have yet to see the exzct same show.

According to the zoo Buckskin Bill which I grew up watching had his earlier viewerssend in pennies to help get the zoos first elephants and other contributions.

Baton Rouge zoo is  one of the best places for all not just children,of course they do have alot more fun at the new playground ,but we all love the petting zoo
