Visitor Reviews Review by Don Grall: January 2001 Exhibits: Siberian Tiger-- excellent, ~4 yrs old, built for good viewing Lowland Gorillas-- very good, outdoor area has good viewing (summer months) Indoor area has good viewing but poor aestheically (glass, concrete enclosures) African Lions--recent, but poorly designed for viewing Amur Leopard--recent, good viewing but poor esthetically (basically a new cage) Raptors--good overall area for exhibits, but cages are too small for the inhabitants (this is true for all species) Mexican Wolves--great enclosure for the wolves, poor for viewing unless you're lucky, very dark overall outdoor setting, lots of trees/shrubs Black-footed ferrets--good exhibit, in darkened building with glass fronted tunnels but difficult to see. Giraffes---basic concrete wall enclosures, fairly large, no vegetation with exception of some trees at viewing end, has babies every year(Reticulated)
